The toolbox

Introducing the toolbox

Through the project, we created a support 'toolbox' for use in schools when introducing loose parts play. While the manual contains background theoretical and practical information for using loose parts, the toolbox contains many helpful resources such as posters, templates and checklists for you to adapt and apply.

Both resources address practical issues around loose parts such as where to find them, how to start, how to talk to parents and carers about them. The prepared tools are 'ready-to-go' - you can print them out and start using them.

Together, the manual and toolbox aim to make introducing loose parts play achievable, exciting and inclusive.

The toolbox tools are referenced at almost every step of the manual - so you can get started right away.
